Exotic palm islands in Thailand
There are miles of wonderful sandy beaches in Thailand, and a trip to Thailand isn’t really complete without a few days of beach vacation.
Island jumping is a particularly popular option as it offers both the opportunity to relax and recharge your batteries properly and to visit several beautiful Thai islands: Koh Lanta, Koh Ha and Koh Mook.
If you want to see what else the country has to offer, you can start with an exciting tour of Thailand and finally spend a few days on a beach holiday in Koh Samui. The island, which used to live on coconut growing, has grown over the years into a world-famous holiday destination.
In Thailand, sunny days and a relaxed beach life await you no matter which island you choose.
A car-free beach paradise in Indonesia
Continue your trip to Bali on a beach holiday on the charming Gili Trawangan, the largest of the Gili Islands. This divinely beautiful island is a resort in the mass class.
Cars are not allowed on the island, so you can only get around by bike, horse-drawn carriage or on foot.
Enjoy a relaxing beach holiday, treat yourself to good food and dive in the clear waters. Gili’s dive sites are said to be among the best in the world.
The days are spent at a leisurely pace while enjoying the island atmosphere, and when the evening comes there is a dance on the program.
Luxury beaches in the Maldives
If you love sandy beaches and luxury resorts that provide a world-class setting for relaxation, the Maldives is for you.
The clear turquoise water makes the lagoons paradise-like. Nothing feels as relaxing as dipping your toes in the white sand while a light breeze makes the lush palm trees that line the beach sway. In this beach paradise, you are guaranteed to charge your battery for a long time.
However, if you want to do things, the islands offer a wide range of water sports activities.
One experience a must-have here is a romantic dinner on the beach at sunset.
For you who love animals
In Asia, countless wonderful animal experiences await you, some of which are only possible here.
In our travel destinations you can make acquaintances with elephants, oranges, leopards and pandas, for example.
See the endangered orang in Sumatra
Gunung Leuser National Park in Sumatra is home to more than 700 different species of animals. The national park is one of the most important attractions in Sumatra, e.g. because here it is possible to get to see endangered sumatran ranks in their natural habitat.
To reach the animals you must first cross the Bohorok River by canoe. After this, the journey continues on foot with a guide telling about the interesting flora and fauna of the area.
The guide is a professional and accustomed to tracing animals, especially oranges, so with his help you have a good chance of getting to see these fascinating primates in the wild.
Admire the beautiful animals in Yala National Park
Sri Lanka’s oldest national park offers stunning animal experiences, with as many as 44 different mammal species and 215 different bird species living in the park.
With good luck, you can even see a rare leopard, but for that you have to keep your eyes open, as these fascinating felines like to hide inside the bushes. In Yala you can also see elephants, crocodiles, monkeys and buffalo.
Yala is definitely worth a visit if you want an exciting animal experience on your holiday.
Get pretty close to the pandas
Pandas were previously found in large parts of China, Vietnam, and northern Myanmar, but today these adorable bears no longer live in a few provinces in central southern China.
China has set up four panda centers to protect the endangered Panda. On our trips to China, we visit them together.
The Panda Center includes a national park and the center itself, where pandas are studied. There are four panda centers in China, all of which are also on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
You can see up to 120 individuals at the panda center near Chengdu. The habitats of the pandas here are practically almost entirely covered by the pandas ’favorite food, i.e. bamboos.
If you want to see pandas with your own eyes, it works best right here.
