Panasonic KX-PRW 120 in the Practice Test

Panasonic brings a DECT phones, which itself could directly replace iPhone and Android smartphones in the test.

Panasonic KX-PRW 120: first impression

At first glance, the KX-PRW 120 is a regular Cordless designer phone with this typical features: phone book for up to 500 entries, eco mode, speed dial, baby monitors, and so on.

But the device offers more, because it can connect via Wi-FI to Smartphones or tablets. So, up to four mobile devices are supported. They contact the Panasonic phone available free in the app store by iPhone and Android app “Smartphone Connect”.

It can manage not only contacts and caller lists, but becomes the cordless device via Wi-FI. So external fixed network calls can make or internal conferences. After some hakeliger Wi-FI application, this worked surprisingly well in practice.

The k-x PRW should cost 100 euro 120. There are more favourable DECTs, but who still often on the phone via landline connection, is nuzten to can certainly appreciate the luxury of also the Smartphone.
