When I look for a toy to build and play with my kids, I prefer always to that which can be shared by my three children, a boy and two girls, aged 4 and 7 years. It may seem difficult, but in fact there are several toys made with what we have at home that make children from ages next play together. I recently did the Spider in the Web, the Glass Return Guys and the Rocket of string. All yielded much.
So, I found in old posts of Tempojunto we do on Fridays the suggestion of toy rocket of Financedns, which had not yet done. I was so curious to know how it would work, I put to work without even waiting children (4th c), who were at school.
First, separated the materials:
Paper or plastic straws
Sheet of paper
Person markers to decorate
As I was testing the toy to tell you, I used four different types of paper to figure out what would work best. I took a piece of cardboard, a sheet of sulfite, crepe paper and tissue paper (of these coming in gifts).
The next step was to measure the role the size enough to make a wrapper for the scroll.
I cut out, wrapped in straw, but leaving well loose, and I closed the top Cap. The ideal would be to have decorated the papers before making the casing, but I wanted to see the result, I forgot and ended up decorating the rocket after.
The best takeoff
As a result, four rockets ready for launch! To play, simply blow the straw and the rocket will be launched in the air.
After dinner, we started the release tests. It was a launch rockets over the table, close to the ceiling, at a distance, with the invention of history of aliens who have come to our planet. When it came time to sleep, I didn’t even know the time and the TV was turned off at your place;)
As for the operation of rockets:
Tissue paper -easy to be blown for smaller children, but flies bit and knead quickly
Crepe paper -the worst of all. Fly little, dented fast and it is not so simple for blowing
Sulfite Paper -needs a little more breath to blow out, but flies well, is firm, and has been used several times. That’s what I recommend.
Cardboard Paper -cardboard paper flies very well, doing pirouettes. But it’s a heavy blow. If you have an adult playing, is ideal because it gives blow and stay in balance of advantage with sulfite.
I’m always around giving tips of toys and games for children between 3 and 7 years. If you have children at this stage, sign up for our Newsletter you will receive an email every week with everything posted here on the blog and the news of social networks and the Tempojunto.
