Vodafone Negotiates with Verizon to Verizon Wireless Sell for More Than 100,000 Million Dollars

According to Bloomberg, Vodafone has confirmed negotiations with Verizon by which the latter would be Division of Vodafone in United States for a price that would be between 100,000 and 130,000 million dollars.

This would represent the largest business operation of the Decade, and would be a new episode in the history of Verizon Wireless, that was formed in the year 2000 as a joint venture between Verizon Communications (USA) and Vodafone (United Kingdom), which agreed to form it with a share of 55% and 45% of the capital respectively.
Confirmation of negotiations has made that Vodafone a 9.6% increase in bag and listing to values that had not achieved since 2002, adding 13,000 billion to the market value of which is currently the second largest mobile operator in the world.

Although Vodafone said that negotiations are underway, in an official announcement the company said that “there is no certainty that the agreement is reached”. However, it is expected that such an agreement is announced on September 2, according to sources close to the negotiations. As part of the transaction, Verizon would also sell its stake in Vodafone Italy (23%, with a value of $ 5,300 million) to Vodafone.
